SmartClassScripts - ScoreScribe

ScoreScribe is a Google Sheets add-on that helps educators generate student assessment reports from spreadsheet data. It is designed for special educators, school psychologists, and educational diagnosticians. ScoreScribe processes assessment data (such as WIAT-4 scores) entered into Google Sheets and automatically assembles it into formatted narrative reports. All data is processed within the user's Google Workspace to support data privacy and FERPA compliance.

I built ScoreScribe because I know the exact feeling of losing a Sunday afternoon to formatting test scores when I should be with my family. Trying to balance a demanding caseload while raising kids of my own made me realize something had to change. Educators pour our hearts into our students, but we deserve to be present for our own families, too.

Organized input: You input your student’s raw scores, percentiles, and behavioral notes into a clean, organized, pre-formatted spreadsheet.
Custom toggles: You also select specific toggles—like whether you want a "Clinical" or "Family-Friendly" tone, or whether the test was normed by age or grade.
Clean & Pre-Formatted: No need to copy the sheet and clear everything manually. When you're ready for a new student, just import the template again.

Dropdowns and Checkboxes: The script looks at the selected dropdowns, checkboxes, and scores you entered and matches them to an internal library of pre-written, highly vetted clinical narratives and grammatical rules.
