Terms of Service for IEP Insight

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using the IEP Insight Google Sheets™ add-on ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. License and Usage

• Per-Seat License: Each user who enters data or generates reports using the Service must possess a valid, unique license key purchased through Gumroad.

• Non-Transferable: License keys are tied to the purchaser's email address. You may not share your license key with other users.

• Sheet Binding: A license key binds to specific Google Sheets™. Copying a licensed sheet to bypass subscription requirements is prohibited and will result in the add-on locking.

3. User Responsibilities

• Student Privacy: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of this tool complies with all applicable student data privacy laws (such as FERPA in the US). You acknowledge that you are the data controller for all student data entered into the Google Sheet™.

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account™ and your License Key.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its scripts, code, and "Homepage" design, is the property of SmartClassScripts and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the add-on script.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms (e.g., by sharing license keys or attempting to bypass security measures).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SmartClassScripts be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data) arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the applicable state.
